Message & design

  • What is it that you want the audience to remember? What is the take away?
  • Very hard question for students the first time they are asked!
  • Use inspiration to plan the process - template on his website
  • Need a hook for the audience
  • Teach how to find copyright friendly images that have an emotional connection to audience or content
  • Slides should not give away topic!
  • TIME! Rehearse and practice - even better
  • PowerPoint interventions!!!
  • What images and text will enforce your message?
